James Carlos Yap (born February 15, 1982), from Escalante City, Negros Occidental, is a Chinese Filipino professional basketball superstar player for the Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants in the Philippine Basketball Association. He is the 2005-2006 season's Most Valuable Player and a many-time PBA South All-Star team starter. He is also a many-time member of the RP Basketball Team.
